Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy describes how VaultX (“we”, “the app”) treats information when you use the VaultX mobile application.
Summary
VaultX is designed so your vault content (photos, videos, and PDFs you import) is stored on your device. We do not operate a cloud backup of your vault as part of the core app experience described here. If you add analytics or servers later, update this policy accordingly.
Information on your device
- Media and documents you import into VaultX are kept in the app’s storage on your iPhone or iPad.
- Security settings such as your PIN are handled using platform security features (e.g. secure storage); we do not receive your PIN on our servers from the app as shipped.
- If you use Face ID, Touch ID, or similar, authentication is performed by iOS; we do not receive your biometric data.
Photos and media library
The app may request access to your photo library to import or export content when you choose to. Access is used only to perform the actions you initiate.
Purchases
Subscriptions or in-app purchases are processed by Apple. Apple provides us with transaction information according to their policies; we do not receive your full payment card details.
Analytics and crash data
Unless a future version of the app states otherwise, VaultX does not use third-party analytics or advertising frameworks in the build described by this policy. If that changes, this page will be updated to name any providers and what they collect.
Children’s privacy
VaultX is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
